PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage detection method for immediately detecting an abnormality of AC voltage. SOLUTION: AC voltage from an AC power source 1 is inputted via a voltage transformer 2 and a signal waveform digitally converted by an A/D conversion circuit 3 is taken in a CPU 4. An abnormal voltage is detected by a soft program accommodated in the CPU 4 and a switch 7 is turned off by a switch control circuit 5. A bidirectional converter 8 is switched to an inverter driving by a bidirectional converter control circuit 6 and a battery 7 is AC-converted to feed an AC power to load 10.
