<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and the circuit scale of a digital signal reception and reproducing device. SOLUTION: The digital signal reception and reproducing device that reproduces two kinds of streams multiplexed by different methods is provided with a multiplexer/demultiplexer 50 that obtains a prescribed stream from a multiplexed stream by a 1st method, a changeover means 52 that selects and outputs a prescribed stream or a stream multiplexed by a 2nd method, a memory 7, a memory control means 6 that controls write and read of the stream outputted from the changeover means to/from the memory, an analysis means 15 that analyzes the stream read from the memory by the memory control means to extract information for decoding, and a decoding means 8 that decodes the stream read from the memory.</p> |
