PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotary drive a rotor while eliminating dead point using a single position detecting element by employing stator coils of same number as the rotor magnets (poles) and specifying the interval of the magnets differently. SOLUTION: For example, stator coils 5A1-5A5, 5B1-5B5 of 2n stators are provided and 2n magnets 1A1-1A5, 1B1-1B5 are provided for the rotor. When n=5, five N pole magnets 1A1-1A5 and S pole magnets 1B1-1B5 are arranged alternately on a rotor support. The stator coils 5A1-5A5, 5B1-5B5 are arranged on a same circle at a constant interval and the ratio of distances between the center of the N pole magnet and the center of both S pole magnets is set at X:Y=1:1.4. It is subjected to switching driving by two phase half-wave driving system at a part where the induced electromotive force has a positive value. |
