PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel cell reduced in data transfer load. SOLUTION: Each pixel cell 20 in a pixel arrangement is provided with a circuit which generates DC balance data for pixel itself by utilizing the display data that are transferred to each pixel from an external source. The pixel cell 20 is provided with a first storage node 30 which is branched to two individual storage nodes 40 and 44. The branched first node is used to store the data which are to be used to display on the pixel. The branched second node is used to generate and to hold DC balance data. When display data are displayed by the pixel cell 20, the DC balance data are multiplexed in the cell 20 and the cell 20 is driven in accordance with the DC balance data. By generating the DC balance data within the cell 20 rather than transferring the data from the external, the data transfer load to the cell 20 is reduced to almost one half.
