PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce exposure information for red color which is coincident to the human color sensitivity without requiring limitation of the average aspect ratio of planer particle emulsion for green color recording to a specified value, by alternately forming red recording layer units and green recording layer units having low sensitivity and high sensitivity. SOLUTION: A series of hydrophilic colloid layers include, from the layer unit applied nearest to the supporting body, a red recording layer unit having lower sensitivity, green recording layer unit having lower sensitivity, red recording layer unit having higher sensitivity, and green recording layer unit having higher sensitivity. The recording layer units do not contain a colored masking coupler, but planer particle emulsions sensitized to green color and red color are used to the respective green and red recording layer units. The spectral sensitizing dye in the red color recording layer unit shows at least 50 nm half peak absorption band width from the green to red regions in the spectrum. The intensity of the absorption peak at 560 nm is 80 to 95% of the max. absorption peak in the spectral region from 570 to 710 nm.
