PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of animation spurious profiles normally caused during a carry of gradation. SOLUTION: In an odd frame, an MSB (a most significant bit) is arranged in the vicinity of a center. On both sides of the MSB, bisected MSB-1 and MSB-2 are successively arranged and an LSB (a least significant bit) is arranged at a leading point or a last point of the frame. On the other hand, in an even frame, an LSB is arranged in the vicinity of the center and on both sides of the LSB, bisected MSB-2, MSB-1 and MSB are successively arranged. By arranging an MSB at the center of an odd frame and bisected MSBs are arranged on both sides of an even frame, spurious profiles generated during a carry to a most signification figure are almost eliminated. |
