<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera capable of recording a best picture a photographing person intended by freely setting a photographing time at the time of photographing by a self-timer. SOLUTION: When the self-timer starts operation based on a time set by a self-timer time setting part 1, a time counting part 2 starts counting of time and controls a display part 5 to flicker-operate. By this flickering operation, a user can recognize the camera to be in the middle of a delay time. When the set delay time passes, the part 2 instructs a recording part 4 to execute recording operation and controls the display of the part 5 to be consecutive lighting display. The part 4 starts recording of a video and audio signal to a recording medium by the instruction, and a part 2 starts counting a recording time. When a set recording time passes, the part 2 controls the part 4 to stop recording operation and controls to turn off the display of the part 5.</p> |
