THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION EXCELLENT IN STEAM RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition having improved steam resistance using the reactivity of maleic acid anhydride is provided which is suitable for housings of an electric rice cooker and an electric range. CONSTITUTION: A composition which is hardly discoloring and deterioration even in the presence of heat and steam and excellent in steam resistance comprises (A) 5 to 50% by weight of a maleic acid anhydride copolymer, which has 20 to 55 parts by weight of a sum of maleic acid anhydride and a N-(substituted)maleimide monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer content of 80 to 45 parts by weight, (B) 60 to 10% by weight of a vinyl-based graft copolymer, (C) 70 to 0% by weight of a copolymer of containing an aromatic vinyl monomer and a cyanided vinyl monomer, (D) 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of a metal stearate slip agent comprising a bivalent or more metals based on the total weight of 100 parts weight.
