PURPOSE: A measuring method of belt tension of an automatic washer is provided, which can grasp if there is something wrong in belt tension transmitting power to gear mechanism of the washer, prevents error and a loss of power transmission. CONSTITUTION: A method measuring belt tension of a washer includes a first step judging if there is input of a test button of belt tension on a washer body, a second step measuring mobile current value of the no load motor(Ao) by performing a no load drying action as choosing of a test mode of belt tension, a third step comparing Ao to a motor mobile current value(Al) when the maximum permissible tension, and a fourth step judging as excess of belt tension if Ao is over Al and giving warning of reducing the belt tension, or judging as shortage of belt tension and giving warning of raising the belt tension. |
