PURPOSE: A method for reproducing MP3 audio signals in a digital television is provided to reproduce MP3 audio signals in a general digital television. CONSTITUTION: A method for reproducing MP3 audio signals in a digital television comprises the following steps. Digital MP3 audio data are received from outer equipments and the received digital MP3 audio data are stored. An operation of a decoding portion is switched a decoding mode for the digital MP3 audio data if a key signal is input to reproduce the stored digital MP3 audio data. The digital MP3 audio data are decided by the decoding portion. The decoded digital MP3 audio data are analog signals and the converted analog signals are output.
