FORMING METHOD OF DIELECTRIC LAYER OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL USING POWDER FILLING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for forming a dielectric layer in a highly fine plasma display panel (PDP) using a powder filling method is provided which can control the thickness of a dielectric layer more easily and simply. CONSTITUTION: A process comprises the steps of forming a membrane for dispersion protection along the edge of a first page of a PDP, filling a dielectric substance powder with a height lower than the membrane for dispersion protection on the surface of the first page of the PDP by spraying dielectric substance powder on the surface of the first page of the PDP and vibrating them, forming a dielectric substance layer by calcining the dielectric substance powder. The process solves the problems about the occurrence of air bubbles on a transparent dielectric layer absolutely and reduces the cost of production and decreases fraction defective.
