PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sensor data or a sensor output signal having a dynamic range suitable to bit length by executing data conversion so that the data range of converted sensor data becomes a previously determined prescribed data range based on the signal level range of a detection signal outputted from a sensor in the operation state of a key or a pedal. SOLUTION: A CPU 201 transfers a part of output data from an A/D converter 223 determined as processing data bit as regular A/D conversion result data to a RAM 203 together with its corresponding timer value to write these data in a prescribed area. In this case, data conversion is executed so that the data range of converted sensor data is a previously determined prescribed data range based on the signal level range of a detection signal outputted from the sensor in the operation state of a key or a pedal or the signal level range of a detection signal from the sensor is detected and the amplification factor of the detection signal is changed so that the detected signal level range becomes the previously determined prescribed signal level range to amplify the detection signal.
