PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a telephone number arriving at the time of absence by providing a mail message generation/transmission part for mailing message by incorporating a caller telephone number in caller information which is temporarily preserved into the mail message of an Internet. SOLUTION: A call/call monitoring part 13 monitors a telephone line 2, detects the termination of a call and judges whether the termination of the call is owing to the off-hook of a handset (call start) or not. When the termination of the call is judged to be the off-hook of the handset, the call/call monitoring part 13 gives the indication of the transmission of a message to the mail message generation/transmission part 15. The mail message generation/ transmission part 15 generates a mail message, takes out a caller telephone number in caller information from a temporary preservation part 14, incorporates it and transmits the generated mail message by using an Internet interface part 16.
