<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonmagnetic one-component dry electrophotographic toner having good stable developing performance, excellent in color reproducibility and also having good fixability by using a specified polyol resin as a resin binder and at least one of specified three additives. SOLUTION: The dry electrophotographic toner contains a polyol resin as a resin binder and at least one of three additives. The polyol resin contains at least one selected from (1) a polyol having an epoxy resin part and an alkylene oxide part in the principal chain and having inert resin ends, (2) a polyol obtained by allowing an epoxy resin to react with an alkylene oxide adduct of dihydric phenol or its glycidyl ether and a compound having two or more active hydrogen atoms which react with epoxy groups in one molecule, etc., as a constituent element. The additives include 0.2-1.0 pt. wt. hydrophobic silica of 0.01-0.03μm primary particle diameter based on 100 pts.wt. matrix toner.</p> |
