PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture magnetic recording media having a sufficient electro magnetic conversion characteristic with a high productivity. SOLUTION: This method includes in an apparatus 20, a process of sending a polymer film 22 having a vapor deposition face, a process of evaporating a ferromagnetic metal, a process of piling a thin film including the ferromagnetic metal to a vapor deposition area among the vapor deposition face of the polymer film 22 which is sent with an inclination angleθto a horizontal face in a range of 20-80 deg.. The polymer film 22 may be sent so that a change (Δθ) of the inclination angleθat the vapor deposition area is not larger than 30 deg..
