<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for a ship radar that eliminates the need of course setting due to the deviation of the course of own ship, and secures high accuracy for the course display of a next target place. SOLUTION: A display for a ship radar is equipped with a navigation data- processing means that utilizes navigation data from a navigation assistance device based on gyro and log speed signals obtained from the side of an own ship and calculates the direction of the own ship and that of a next target place to display the course of the next target place for storing, a display- processing means that allows the directions of the own ship and the next target place to be subjected to graphic display processing and obtains a bow azimuth 5 of the own ship and a next target azimuth 6 that can be automatically set and displayed on the screen of the radar, and a display control means that fixes the next target place azimuth 6 on a radar screen 4 upward and at the same time displays and controls the bow azimuth 5 of own ship so that the bow azimuth 5 fluctuates due to the fluctuation from the next target place azimuth 6 when displaying the course of the next target place.</p> |
