PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a median filter capable of keeping the texture of an image while suppressing noise. SOLUTION: The median filter reads the gray level of a pixel within the vicinity of an object pixel, selects (120) the first number of the gray level from the read gray level, calculates (130) the center value of the selected gray level and allocates (140) the center value as the new gray level of the object pixel. |
