PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start to execute a next instruction before the execution of a current instruction ends by executing a code when a counter value reaches 0 and decrementing a counter at a position specified with a look-ahead code after the execution. SOLUTION: In a first process, execution of instructions is started. The look-adhead code is inquired and the counter is incremented at a look-ahead position. It is checked whether or not the counter currently indicates 0. This inquiry is continued until the counter indicates 0 and when the counter reaches 0, the execution is started immediately. After the execution of the instruction is started, a program begins to execute more instructions before the current instruction ends so as to start the execution of a next instruction. The value of the look-ahead code specifies the number of instructions which can be started. Once the execution of the current instruction ends, the counter of the look-ahead is decremented. |
