PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the angle of the visibility of the electrooptic device such as a reflection type liquid crystal device having a pixel electrode formed of a reflecting film by using relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal is sandwiched between a couple of substrates. On one of the substrates, pixel electrodes 13 are provided which consist of wires such as a data line and a scanning line for supplying electric power driving the liquid crystal and a reflecting film. Further, a 2nd conductive layer 10 having a number of holes 10a and a hole filling insulating layer 11c which fills the holes 10a, is processed by CMP(Chemical Mechanical Polishing) together with the 2nd conductive layer prescribing the circumferences of the holes 10a and has its CMP-processed surface recessed below the surface of the 2nd conductive layer are provided between the pixel electrode 13 and one of the substrates. |
