<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of character inputting by an inputting means including a pointing device and also to reduce the waste of work time due to operation mistakes by a user. SOLUTION: The computer system is provided with a main application which uses a pointing device 16 and other inputting means and performs character inputting and other information processing and an character input application which performs character input processing at a character inputting part provided in an information processing application by using an inputting means and the computer system is further provided with a character input processing controlling means 13 that discriminates whether or not the execution of character input processing is instructed to the character inputting part, makes the character input application functionable when the execution of the character input processing is instructed and makes the character input application unfunctional when the execution of the character input processing is not instructed.</p> |
