PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the developer cleaning method of a wet type electrophotographic printer by which the soil of a photoreceptor belt or the soil of a transfer roller caused through the photosensitive belt can be particularly reduced and printing quality is enhanced in a succeeding developing mode. SOLUTION: A step (a) where a developer supplied from a jetting nozzle 23 is supplied to a photosensitive medium through a developing roller 22 and an electrostatic latent image is developed, a step (b) where the drip developer caused at the photosensitive medium between a squeeze roller 24 and the roller 22 is eliminated and a step (c) where the potential of the roller 22 is lowered after a developing action so as to move toner grains included in the drip developer to the roller 22 by potential difference are included.
