PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber stripper unnecessary for exchanging a blade regardless of the coat thickness, capable of stripping a covered layer of an optical fiber by one kind of the blade, capable of recovering stripped scraps of the cover layer, and safe since the blade is stored in a case. SOLUTION: An optical fiber stripper which has a pair of blades 1, 1 opposite to each other to cut a cover layer of an optical fiber having the cover layer on the outer circumference, cuts the cover layer by a pair of the blades 1, 1, and draws the optical fiber to remove the cover layer, is provided with a rotatable cam 3 around a rotary shaft 4, and a cut regulating means to regulate the cut depth of the cover layer by a pair of the blades 1, 1 according to the position of rotation of the cam 3. |
