PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a motor, and to thin the motor by press-fitting a shaft made of metal into a yoke holding board made of metal, and press- fitting the yoke holding board into a rotor yoke. SOLUTION: In the case of a fan motor 1, the upper end of a shaft 6 is press-fitted and fixed to the center hole 7a of a yoke holding board 7, and a part of the holding board 7 more upside than the supporting brim 7c of the holding board 7 is fixed to the center hole 8a of the rotor yoke 8. The holding board 7 is press-fitted into the center hole 8a of the rotor yoke 8 from below, and the rotor yoke 8 is positioned against the holding board 7, in its turn against the shaft 6, by bringing the supporting brim 7c of the holding board 7 into contact with the lower opening brim of the center hole 8a of the rotor yoke 8. Consequently, it becomes possible to reduce the cost, to make caulked parts unnecessary, and to thin the motor to that extent, since neither a caulking jig nor caulking process becomes unnecessary, when the shaft is united with the rotor yoke.
