PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light emission luminance of a fan having a light emitting display function and to prolong a light emitting display period. SOLUTION: The fan 1 has a blasting part 2 and a supporting part 3. The blasting part 2 is provided with an EL element 4 and the supporting part 3 with a piezoelectric element 5, respectively. When a user oscillates the supporting part 3 to send air, the supporting part 3 is deflected and restored to compress or restore the piezoelectric element 5, by which DC voltage is formed. The formed AC voltage is subjected to voltage drop in a level shift circuit 6 and is impressed to the EL element 4, by which the EL element 4 is made to emit light. Since the EL element 4 has the high luminance, the EL element is sufficiently visible even in the nighttime. Since the power source is the piezoelectric element 5, there is no need for a battery and handling is easy as there is no labor for battery exchange, etc. The fan 1 which is capable of making the light emission display for a long period may thus be obtained.
