PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to obtain a liquid crystal display device which can prevent the applying of the static electricity to a cell region and increase the display area. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises an array substrate and a cell region which is disposed on the overall region of an array substrate. A static electricity discharging protecting circuit which prevents the discharging of the static electricity applied to the gate line and the date line is disposed at the cross portion of the gate line and the date line. The static electricity discharging protecting circuit comprises first and second transistors of an NMOS transistor. The gate of the first transistor is connected to the source thereof, and the drain thereof is connected to the gate of the second transistor. The gate of the second transistor is connected to the source thereof.
