PURPOSE: A method for multiplexing an ATM cell and providing a CBR service in a broad band wireless local loop is provided to reduce a possibility of an error generation and to be easy to realize a hardware. CONSTITUTION: In a method for multiplexing an ATM cell and providing a CBR service in a broad band wireless local loop, if an asynchronous transfer mode cell multiplexing and a constant bit rate(CBR) service commence(501), internet data changed into an asynchronous transfer mode cell and an asynchronous transfer mode network is stored in an asynchronous transfer mode buffer(502,503). A CBR service provided from a private line and a public switched telephone network is stored in each buffer(CBR_i)(i=0-n)(504-509). There is checked whether a third asynchronous transfer mode cell is stored in an asynchronous transfer mode multiplexing packet(t1 is less than 159)(510). If t1 is over 159(the packet is fully stacked by the cell), t2 is set to '1'(t2=t1-159)(512). The value stored in each CBR buffer is sequentially determined according a way constructed for a channel allotment in order to form a payload of an asynchronous transfer mode multiplexing packet(513,514). After setting t1 to '1', the steps are repeated(519).
