PURPOSE: A video data down filtering interpolation device of a digital television is provided to interpolate digital data by performing down filtering for digital video data. CONSTITUTION: A video data down filtering interpolation device of a digital television comprises an interpolation filter(40), two memory blocks(10), a distribution portion(50), and a control portion(100). The interpolation filter generates interpolated data by performing down filtering for input video data of each clock period. Two memory blocks stores input video data. The distribution portion distributes the input interpolated data input of each clock period to each memory block. The control portion reads stored video data, provides the read video data to the interpolation filter, and stores the interpolated data to each memory block.
