PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual identification device capable of easily identifying which image is suitable for collation from photographed images. SOLUTION: A camera 101 photographs an eye image where the projection of illumination by an illumination part 102 is present. An image quality calculation part 103 supplies evaluation values for indicating image quality based on evaluation references respectively predetermined for a plurality of information among the position, size and shape of the projection of the illumination or the derivation of the entire image from the image photographed by the camera 101. An image quality evaluation part 104 calculates the image quality of the input eye image, based on the plural evaluation values supplied in the image quality calculation part 103. An image quality processing part 105 performs an image processing for individual identification to the input eye image, based on the evaluation value of the image quality evaluation part 104. |
