PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch automatic performance patterns by a required form without sacrificing the performance property of real performance by comparing the performance information of real performance with previously stored trigger performance information, and at the time of judging coincidence between both the information, switching the automatic performance pattern and executing automatic performance. SOLUTION: The performance of a prescribed form for a pad is previously stored in a RAM 3 as trigger performance. The performance order of plural automatic performance patterns is also previously stored in the RAM 3. The player's real performance of the pad is compared with the trigger performance stored in the RAM 3. When the real performance corresponds to the trigger performance as the result of comparison, automatic performance patterns are successively switched in accordance with information stored in the RAM 3. At the judgement of coincidence between the trigger patterns and player's real performance, a pad number and beat timing or only the beat timing is collated. Or a pad number and the number of beats are simultaneously collated. |
