<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a layout-free pointing device which makes it possible to freely set an installation position by providing a movement detection part which detects a moving state from the movement of a foam part in liquid. SOLUTION: This track ball has a movement detection part which detects the moving state from the movement of the foam part in the liquid. For example, a track ball part 20 has a touch sensor 23 which sends whether or not a finger or hand is in contact, a movement detection part 30 which operates when the touch sensor 23 is touched with the finger or hand, a compass 22 for setting the rotation reference axis direction of the movement detection part 30 according to the direction of a computer main body C and the position relation with the track ball part 20, etc. This movement detection part 30 comprises a liquid filled part filled with the liquid wherein an air bubble is present, a detection reference setting part composed of two blue and red liquid crystal parts, and a light emission part so that they are made outwardly spherical respectively.</p> |
