<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter in which stability of circuit is sustained while suppressing consumption of a battery by preventing generation of leak current in the circuit even if a driver on the light emitting side is exposed to external light. SOLUTION: A photoelectric converter comprises a battery-driven LED 6 on the optical signal emitting side mounted on a lead frame 2b, and a driver 7 having a transistor for driving the LED 6. A light shield structure, e.g. a cover 10, is provided in order to prevent the driver 7 from being exposed to external light to cause turn on of the driving transistor thus preventing generation of leak current.</p> |
