PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for arrangement space and expenditure required when plural inspecting devices are used, to execute an inspection without stopping an inspecting system even in case fault occurs in a part of a function part without being restricted by a line and the tact time of the inspecting devices and also to enable arbitrarily changing the contents of an inspection processing. SOLUTION: An image inspecting device is provided with an image input part 14 which picks up the image of an object and inputting the inspection image, plural image processing parts 28(1)-28(N) processing image data regarding the inputted inspection image and inspecting the object and a device control part 26 managing the operation of the functioning parts. The respective function parts 14 and 28(1) to 28(N) or the like are connected to a device control part 26 via a general purpose network NW.
