PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an illegal copying of a literary work made into digital information by surely recognizing a copying image. SOLUTION: A CPU 105 of a print controller 102 generates raster information, which a printer can output, based on the output information described in a page description language transmitted from a host computer 101, and a detection circuit 105 of the print controller 102 detect copyright information in this raster information, and the CPU 104 of the print controller 102 limits transmission of raster information to the printer according to this detection result.
