PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor having good potential stability in repetitive use, excellent in cleanability, having good scuffing and filming resistances, less liable to depletion due to the repetitive use and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer containing at least a carrier generating material, a carrier transferring material and a resin binder is disposed on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The top layer in the photosensitive layer contains a crosslinked resin obtained by allowing a polymer having (1) a unit having a hydroxyl group, (2) a unit having an F atom- or Si atom-containing organic residue in a side chain and (3) a unit having an aromatic ring-containing group in a side chain or the principal chain as repeating units to react with an isocyanate in the presence of a tertiary amine or an organometallic compound as a catalyst.
