<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput, reduce delay and improve efficiency by executing conflict resolution according to the congestion state of an output buffer part with respect to an input buffer part and by permitting or not permitting outputting. SOLUTION: The input buffer parts 10-1 to n construct a logical queue corresponding to a destination output port and sends a packet from a logical queue having packet accumulation found first by round robin among logical queues corresponding to plural output ports 101-1 to n housed in an output module part to eliminate HOL blocking to improve throughput. In addition, when the logical queue of an output port unit is congested, congestion information is given to an arbiter part 21 or the parts 10-1 to n to avoid giving outputting permission to an input buffer part storing only packets toward a congested output port. Thus, the disposal of a packet is prevented by suppressing the packet from being sent to the logical queue of each congested output port.</p> |
