<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a null area where an effective data is not recorded, by sequentially recording a transfer packet of a data stream to be inputted, and separating a single transfer packet into an arbitrary sector and the following sector for recording when a remaining capacity of an arbitrary unit of the sector is smaller than a size of the transfer packet. SOLUTION: This device detects a record size in a unit sector Sector M-1 in which a transfer packet is recorded, and judges whether or not the detected present record size exceeds a record size of a unit sector set at the time of recording many single transfer packets TSP 10. When the record size exceeds that of the unit sector as the result of the judgment, the single transfer packet TSP 10 to be presently recorded is separated into a former transfer packet Former TSP 10 and a latter transfer packet Latter TSP 10, and they are separately recorded in the unit sector Sector M-1 and the unit sector Sector M, respectively.</p> |
