<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of this type of headlamp for automobile, without losing high efficiency by obtaining both light distributions at vehicle passing-by and traveling without blocking light with a shutter or the like. SOLUTION: This device comprises a first reflective surface 3 with a light source 2 placed at the focal point, light guide passages 4 provided through the rear side of the first reflective surface 3, a second reflecting surface 5 with the light guide passages 4 placed at the focal points, and a third reflecting surface 6 with the light source 2 and the light guide passages 4 respectively placed at the first focal point and the second focal points. The relative positions of the second reflecting surface 5, the third reflecting surface 6, and the light source 2 are fixed. The first reflecting surface 3 is shaft, clamped slidably back and forth relative to the light source 2. A drive part 7 is provided on the first reflective surface 2. A head light for automobile 1 provided with this constitution can switch light distributions without shielding plate or the like.</p> |
