PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize information for specifying an image for the protection of copyright of an image and the identification of a photographing person by recording the information for specifying an image by using an electronic watermark function in a photographed image. SOLUTION: The information for specifying an image photographed by an image pickup part 2 is recorded in the photographed image by using the electronic watermark function. As information for specifying the image, there is information specifying the photographing person such as the name, the signature, etc., of the photographing person and these pieces of information are previously stored in a memory by operating an operation part 4 and photographing from the part 2. At the time of photographing, a CPU 6 composes information stored in the memory by electronic watermark. A the time of looking at information composed by electronic watermark, a dedicated program stored in a program memory 5 is used to take out information for specifying an image out of images stored in an image memory 7 and to display the information on an image display part 3. |
