PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the inconvenience given to the user of the conventional video camera that the user must use the camera by always minding the remaining capacity of a rechargeable battery which is used as the power source of the camera and, when, for example, the user makes a several-day journey, the user must carry a battery charger, plural batteries, etc., with him and charge the battery when he does not use the camera. SOLUTION: A video reproducing device is provided with a solar battery 3 on the rear side of a movable liquid crystal screen so that the user of the camera 1 may charge a secondary battery attached to the main body 1 of the camera with the electric power supplied from the solar battery 3 which is provided on the surface of a movable panel section 2 opposite to the liquid crystal screen in such a state that the attaching angle of the battery 3 can be adjusted so that the battery 3 may be directed to the sunshine at right angles.
