PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traffic controller for a traveling body which exhibits satisfactory control performance regardless of a traveling speed and to provide a transfer crane using it. SOLUTION: In this vehicle traffic controller 10, an output speed command value calculating means 28 calculates such a right output speed command value v1 and a left output speed command value v2 as to change the speed difference between right and left wheels 7 and 8 in accordance with a deviation amount (y), a deviation angleθ, and an input speed command value U0 on the basis of the deviation amount (y) from a deviation amount detecting means 25, the deviation angleθfrom a deviation angle detecting means 26 and the input speed command value U0. Each driving source 11 and 12 is controlled in accordance with these speed command values v1 and v2, and a transfer crane 1 is controlled so as to lower the deviation amount (y) and the deviation angleθaccording to the speed difference between the left and right wheels 7 and 8.
