PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation system where a security function specifying an opposite party who can remotely be operated at the time of executing a remote operation is provided, the permission/non-permission of the remote operation can be switched if needed and the operation is simple for a user. SOLUTION: Communication equipment 1 provided with a voice terminal control means 3 controlling a voice terminal 6, a line interface means 5 connected to an ISDN network 7, a remote operation a management means 4 managing the remote operation of the voice terminal 6, and a control means 2 controlling the voice terminal control means 3, the line interface means 5 and the remote operation management means 4 is installed between the ISDN network 7 and the voice terminal 6. The voice terminal 6 can communicate with the other voice terminals. Communication equipment 1 corresponds to the remote operation when the voice terminal 6 is in the middle of communication by voice and telephone number of the call opposite party of the voice terminal 6 matches the number contained in a message on an out band, which is sent from a management device 8.
