PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform DSA while the question about the exposure of an object to X rays is reduced. SOLUTION: An X-ray video device makes pulse-like X rays generated from an X-ray vessel 11 to be transmitted through an object 20 and makes the optical image of the transmitted X rays to be outputted from an image intensifier 13. Then the video device sends the outputted optical image to a picture monitor 18 for radioscopy and, at the same time, makes the intensifier 13 output an out-of-focus picture by switching the electrode voltage by means of an X-ray controller 19 at the ending time of the radioscopy. Then the video device fetches the out-of-focus image to an image processor 17 as a mask image and, when the device obtains a live image in accordance with the photographing condition by injecting a contrast medium into the object 20 thereafter, causes the picture processor 17 to perform subtraction on the mask image.
