PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling capability of an oil cooler being built in a header tank. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger, a second header tank 122 and a partition wall 132 that partitions the inside of the header tank 122 and composes an oil space 141 for allowing engine oil to flow are integrated by extrusion machining, and at the same time an offset-type first inner fin 133 being separately formed by press machining is brazed in the oil space 131 for jointing, thus increasing the heat transfer coefficient between the engine oil and the first inner fin 133, and hence improving the cooling capability of an oil cooler.
