PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the push in operation of a retainer by a tightening cylinder. SOLUTION: In a flexible pipe joint provided with a cylindrical joint main body 1, a tightening cylinder 2 screwed in one end of the joint main body 1 and the annular retainer 3 for surrounding the tip outer periphery of the bellow pipe 8 projected from the inside of the tightening cylinder 2 to the inside of the joint main body 1 and provided a notch 32 notched from the front end to the rear end of the screw in direction of the tightening cylinder 2 so as to remain a thin part 31 in parallel with the periphery direction on the retainer 3 and in which the retainer 3 is pushed in the retainer storage 17 in the joint main body 1 forcedly by the screw in of the tightening cylinder 2 and externally inserted in the valley of the bellow pipe 8 in an expansion obstruction state, the annular pressure receive step 35 contacting to the tip of the tightening cylinder 2 at the position shifted to a radius direction than each thin part 31 is provided on the retainer 3 and the tightening cylinder 2 is formed in a shape which is non-contacted for each thin part 31 in such state that the tip is contacted to the pressure receive step 35.
