PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment capable of making a call through an ISDN by connecting an analog telephone set by providing a telephone interface means composed of a tone transmission means for transmitting a tone to the reception side of a signal separation means. SOLUTION: A communication analog part 11 executes filter processing of the analog signal of a MODEM part 10 or an NCU part 12 and the switch of a signal route. An I/O control part 25 controls an input/output port in accordance with the instruction of a system control part 21 and controls/state- monitors an analog interface part 27, a TEL interface part 40 and a CODEC part 28. The host interface part 26 transfers a command response and picture information with a host system. A TEL interface part 40 is added to a PSTN communication part 12 and an ISDN communication part 20 with such constitution. Thus, the call can be made through the ISDN of an analog telephone set 60.
