PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display device in which disclination is suppressed and the stable alignment of the liquid crystal is achieved. SOLUTION: A vertical alignment type liquid crystal display device is equipped with 1st and 2nd substrates which faces each other, 1st and 2nd bus lines 45 and 46 arranged on the 2nd substrate orthogonally to each other, a liquid crystal layer provided between the 1st and 2nd substrates, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd projection type structures which restrict the alignment of the liquid crystal. The 1st projection type structure has a surface slanting to the 1st substrate and is provided on the 1st substrate in parallel to the 1st bus line 45, the 2nd projection type structure has a surface slanting to the 2nd substrate and is provided on the 2nd substrate in parallel to the 1st bus line, and the 3rd projection type structure has a surface slanting to at least one of the 1st and 2nd substrates and is provided on at least one of the 1st and 2nd substrates in a different arrangement from the 1st and 2nd projection type structures. |
