Disclosed is a wiper blade (10) designed to clean the glass panes (24) of motor vehicles. The wiper blade has a band-shaped, longitudinal, metal spring bar (12) that is concavely curved in relation to the surface of the glass pane and a longitudinal rubber elastic wiper strip arranged between the band surface facing the glass pane (24) and the glass pane and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the spring bar. A particularly reliable connection between the metal spring bar (12) and the wiper strip (16) is achieved when the spring bar (12) is loosely mounted at least partially in a space (34) that is substantially surrounded by a housing-like plastic sleeve, which is fitted with fixing elements (40, 42) for the wiper strip (16) on the side (36) facing the glass pane. |
