The attachment system has a first profile rail (12) and a second profile rail (14) for connection to the first rail and parallel to it using one or more attachment elements (18), whereby connector strips (22) can be attached directly to the profile rails. The first rail is broader than the second and has devices (24) for accommodating the screening braid of a cable. The attachment element(s) are formed only over a small part of the length of the rails. An Independent claim is also included for a distribution cabinet.
