The invention discloses a piezoelectric transducer including a piezoelectric diaphragm. Said diaphragm is made into the shape of valleys and convexes. Said diaphragm is polarized in such a way that the direction of polarization of said diaphragm consisting each convex/valley part is towards the top/bottom of said convex/valley part. Thus, when a force perpendicular to the convex/valley direction influences the piezoelectric diaphragm, it will transduce in a shearing mode, thereby noticeably improving the efficiency of the acoustic-electrical transducing. Additionally, the sensitivity of the invention's transducer is independent on the piezoelectric diaphragm's thickness. Therefore, it may increase the capacitance of the transducer by means of reducing the thickness of the piezoelectric diaphragm without decreasing its sensitivity.
