PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove pulse noise without using a video processor. SOLUTION: The inputted signal is separated into a Y-signal and a C signal in a Y/C separator 41 and they are respectively converted into a digital signal. The Y signal converted into a digital signal is written in a frame memory 43, pulse noise is removed in a median part 44 with respect to the Y-signal which is read from the frame memory 43, the Y signal is combined with the C signal and it is adopted as a stipulated video composite signal. A control part 49 generates the timing signal of a vertical flyback section based on a video signal, the median part 44 is on/off-controlled by a timing signal, and pulse noise is not removed from the Y signal by so that the media part 44 is not passed in the vertical flyback section.
